Judy Chiang

江玉庭生於台灣，其後移居香港，接觸文化藝術，更對當代水墨畫產生興趣。她於香港城市大學專業進修學院修畢書法文憑課程、中文大學專業進修學院修畢中國水墨畫高等書法文憑課程。江氏曾隨嶺南畫派大師趙少昂高足林湖奎老師習花鳥、動物，對畫派現代精神及繪畫技巧多所涉獵。其後更赴台灣師範大學研究所繼續進修，獲得創作學士學位，更得「現代水墨畫之父」劉國松老師指導啓發。

江玉庭的現代水墨擷取了傳統筆墨法理，注入當代水墨新技行和意念，雲動水流，渾然合一，以成一己之法。她現為粵港澳大灣區水墨概念畫會會長、香港現代水墨畫會會員、香港美術家協會員、香港創意水墨畫會會員；近年來參予多個展覽，包括2019年作品入選「第十三届全国美展」、2020年作品入圍「第三屆石景宜博士盃華夏書畫創作大賽」、2021年「水墨500」、2021年作品三張入選了「立陶宛國際水彩雙年展」、2021年獲「韓中日文化亜細亜水墨大獎」，韓國、2021年作品入圍日本「JIWI 秋季國際水彩畫展」、2021、2022年作品入圍「 National Online Art Exhibition- 2022 VAS International Artist Group India」、2022年富衛1881公館聯展，獲得藝術界認許及備受注意。

Artist Judy Chiang was born in Taiwan, and later moved to Hong Kong. She started to explore culture and art since then and became intrigued particularly in contemporary ink painting. Chiang respectively received Diploma in Calligraphy at City University of Hong Kong, and Advanced Diploma in Calligraphy & Chinese Ink Painting at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Chiang studied the compositions and styles of flowers, birds, and animals, under the mentorship of ZHAO Shao’ang and LIN Hukui, both are masters of the Lingnan School of Painting. She later studied at the National Taiwan Normal University for further education and obtained bachelor's degree in creative arts. Chiang also received mentorship and has been influenced by the "Father of Modern Ink Painting", artist LIU kuo-sung.

Chiang is currently the president of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Ink Painting Association, a member of the Hong Kong Modern Ink Painting Society, a member of the Hong Kong Artists Institute, and a member of Hong Kong Creative Ink Painting Association. Chiang participated in multiple exhibitions in recent years. Her works were shortlisted for the ‘13th National Art Exhibition of the Republic of China’ in 2019 and ‘3rd Dr. Shi Jingyi Cup China Painting and Calligraphy Creation Competition’ in 2020. She also participated the ‘Ink Global 2021’. In the same year, three of Chiang’s works were respectively selected for the ‘International Watercolour Biennale “Leaving Memories”’, ‘Korea, China and Japan Culture and Ink Painting Award/ Korea’, and ‘Japan JIWI Autumn International Watercolor Exhibition’. In 2022, Chiang’s works were shortlisted for ‘National Online Art Exhibition - 2022 VAS International Artist Group India’. She also participated in 2022 FWD HOUSE 1881 group exhibition, where she gained further recognition and attention from the art world.
