About Limestone Artworks
Each of the limestone we use for art printing, was torn down from old houses with 50 to 60 years' history. We went to Beijing and Yunnan in China to search for this rare material, and paid the house owners to rebuild a new roof or wall for exchange. We believe compared to canvas or paper, this stone with each unique story behind, coming through all the years and witnessing changes, is able to bring more lively artsy spirit for your home. All the artworks are printed onto the limestone applying special technologies, that is why the colour could be closest to the original work. After printing, artist uses brush to complete the whole artwork by hand, in order to perfect the texture details and colour tone.
Authorised by artists, the limestone printings from each original painting would be limited to 99 editions, globally. Even though they fall into the category of printing, as each listone uniquely exists in the world with its own origin and texture, and each printing piece is finally completed by the brush, the collectible value they contain becomes comparatively high.
